Located on the west coast of the Malay Peninsula, Kuala Lumpur is the capital and largest city of Malaysia, with an area of 243.65 square kilometres and an urban population of 1,479,388, including the Klang River Basin, which has a population of 7.8 million. Kuala Lumpur is one of the major traditional settlements of the Chinese in Malaysia, with a predominantly Cantonese, Minnan and Hakka population, and is ranked as an ALPHA (Grade A) international city in the GaWC list of world class cities, along with Chicago, Los Angeles, Moscow, Toronto and Seoul. Kuala Lumpur is the most populous and densely populated city in Malaysia, and the fastest growing metropolitan area in terms of population and economy. It is ranked 10th in the world for the most attractive cities for foreign tourists.

Melaka

A state of Malaysia, in the southern part of the Malay Peninsula, known as the ancient city. Malacca covers an area of 1,650 square kilometres and has a population of approximately 870,000. Of these, 780,6957 are Malaysian citizens, or 95.84%, and 34,153 or 4.16% are non-citizens.
The city of Malacca was officially inscribed on the World Heritage List on 7 July 2008 and has received numerous international accolades. It has been ranked by several publications, including Forbes and Lonely Planet, as one of the top tourist destinations in Asia and the world. Listed as one of the top tourist destinations in the world. Malacca is also listed as one of the top 10 best destinations in Malaysia by Tripadvisor.
There are regular public bus services from Melaka to Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru and other locations in the Malay Peninsula. There is also an international airport at Batu Annam, which is mostly used for intra-regional charter flights and as a teaching airport for the Malaysian Aviation Academy.
